Overview
Contrary to popular belief, and unlike preparation for medical school, there is no standard pre-law curriculum in the United States. In fact, American law schools accept people from all majors. Accordingly, The College of New Jersey does not have a pre-law major. It does, however, offer a number of options for students interested in going to law school to help them prepare for the application process, the LSAT, and for success in law school itself. This web site is designed to help students connect with the many different resources we offer to pre-law students. Pre-Law Advising
The College of New Jersey has an excellent pre-law advising program. Advising is done by a group of faculty members who form the Pre-Law Advisory Committee. The names, telephone numbers, and email addresses of the members of the Pre-Law Advisory Committee appear on the right. We encourage students to explore this web site fully. And, once you have done so, you should then meet with one of the members of the Pre-Law Advisory Committee. |
